Synopsis
Four friends head into the woods for a weekend retreat, hoping to reconnect and work through their tangled relationships. But their personal issues soon become the least of their problems when they encounter a presence in the forest that doesn’t just want to harm them — it wants to change who they are. An existential thriller in the tradition of The Twilight Zone, blending psychological horror and intimate drama to explore transformation, desire, and identity.

New Orleans native McHenry "Mac" Taylor makes intimate, DIY genre films through an arthouse lens. After studying film at SMU in Dallas, he wrote and directed the micro-budget Western feature "Elsewhere, TX", which screened at festivals nationwide and won Audience Choice and Best Western at the Reel East Texas Film Festival.
He returned to New Orleans during COVID for film work, met his wife. They were married during production of his latest short, the paranormal thriller "POLY".
He currently lives in Columbus, Ohio, with his wife, two cats, and a dog. Read less
