Synopsis
Elliot, overwhelmed by guilt after the accidental death of his wife during a violent argument, isolates
himself in a decaying apartment that preserves every trace of his crime. On the edge of ending his life, he
finds a strange newspaper ad promising total disappearance through a man known as The Tailor.
The tailor doesn’t alter clothes, but identities. He offers Elliot a catalog of “skins,” each belonging to a
different man. Elliot undergoes a brutal transformation; his face is no longer his own, and for the first time, he feels free.
But when a stranger recognizes Elliot’s borrowed face as someone who committed a terrible crime,
Elliot is forced to confront a horrifying truth: escaping his past may have bound him to someone else’s.

I'm Omkar Mohare, a Writer-Director from Mumbai working in psychological horror and surreal drama. My work is drawn to the fragility of identity, how much of who we are is performance, and what happens when the mask starts to feel more real than the person underneath. My films include The Auction (2025), We Are Live (2022), and the documentary Dashavatar (2023), and I've built my craft working as an Assistant Writer and Director across various productions.

Tailor Made, which I wrote and directed, sits at the heart of these obsessions. The film uses psychological horror as a metaphor, grief stitched into flesh, guilt worn like a second skin. It's not just about fear; it's about the quiet urge many of us feel to escape ourselves, and the darker question of what we become if we actually do. My aim was to make something haunting and intimate, to create discomfort not in the chaos, but in the quiet moments, where audiences might recognize pieces of themselves in Elliot and carry that unsettling question with them long after the film ends.
